Learn Squared is a new form of art education I've co-founded with fellow artists Maciej Kuciara, Anthony Jones, and Andrew Hawryluk.
Under Learn Squared, we aim to teach innovative techniques as one industry-leading artist teaches another from a completely different field. You receive the same tutorials, the same information, and the same guidance. You are able to see how another high-level creative mind works and solves similar problems you might be facing.
Our goal is not only to teach what we've learned, but to demonstrate and share how we learn.
My first course, UI and Data Design for Film, starts at the very beginning by exploring how I formulate ideas from a creative pitch. From there, I move into building and organizing assets, keeping my work consistent, and concludes with some of my best practices for presenting artwork on the web. Using a combination of Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge, you can see my step-by-step workflow to turn ideas into reality.
