Modern Slavery

I find it strange we condemn slavery, and at the same time behave like the taskmasters of many. People are slave of the over–consuming society. They are the building blocks / pillars of the Wester society, without them there is no consumerism like we know it. Sweatshops provide us with the cheap goods we ask for.

Within this table a strong human figure carries the table top on its shoulders. He forms the pillar we all rest upon. The top is decorated with engraved Western patterns with a prestigious chair behind it. This chair is the crown for the master.

In this case it’s the chair for the game master. To communicate my message about our Western problem I created a game. A game that knows real and painful punishments. Based upon the three points that make someone a modern slave. Harsh work environments, violence and exploitation are translated to game elements and are based on real life examples.
