Startup Weekend is a 54-hour weekend event, during which groups of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists and more pitch their ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype, demo, or presentation by Sunday evening.
I was involved in the organization of Startup Weekend Women's Edition as a staff member and a mentor. Palermo's edition took place in January 2016.
I worked on a declination of the pre-existing visual identity, using Wonder Woman as our testimonial, because each of us has to use her superpower in her daily struggle for balance between work and personal life.
Startup Weekend è una competizione di 54 ore che si svolge durante il weekend, unendo gruppi di sviluppatori, esperti di business, appassionati di startup, guru del marketing, designer e altre figure, per sviluppare idee di impresa, producendo prototipi, presentazioni, demo e pitch da illustrare la domenica pomeriggio.
Sono stata coinvolta nell'organizzazione dello Startup Weekend Women's Edition come membro dello staff e mentor. L'edizione palermitana si è svolta a gennaio 2016.
Ho lavorato sulla declinazione dell'identità visiva di Startup Weekend, impiegando Wonder Woman come testimonial perché ad ognuna di noi, nel conciliare la quotidiana battaglia fra vita personale e lavoro, è richiesto di sfruttare i propri superpoteri.
