/ɡro͞ov/ is a simple side table born out of an experiment to understand Shaker style construction and joinery. The "/ɡro͞ov/" itself was inspired by the grain on the wood, emphasized by the drawer front, featuring a piece of Poplar split along the grain and rejoined with a steam bent dark veneer strip in between.
