The Bow building in downtown Calgary is one of the many famous landmarks in our city. Named after the river we live beside, it is easily one of the many buildings seen above the cityscape. It also happens to sport one of the city's main public art pieces, Wonderland, a giant girl's head made of white metal mesh. But if you take the time to explore the building, there is much more to it than meets the eye. The small bronze man hugging a tree. A +15 walkway hidden in a small parking lot. The one side of the building that isn't curved. Through these photos, I hope to express the unique culture The Bow has - not the one seen in a passing glance, but one that only the curious can find.
