"Lula Model"

 

Lula was a character in my Circus story for storyboarding and character design. She is a fortune-teller and high wire artist for a fantasy-setting circus. I enjoyed the idea of a tall, thin troll girl and I had a lot of fun with her design.

 

In designing the image for her model, I highly considered her personality and her character archtype. She is my main character, but she is a positive, hopeful life force. Her presence in the circus restores a tired crew and she carries true magic and joy in her heart. This body language reflects her aptitude as a dreamer and gift-giver.
