Memoirs of Geisha follow the stroy of Chiyo, who at the age of nine gets sold to a geisha house in Kyoto and later becomes a Sayuri - the most legendary geisga in the nation. Focusing on this transformation and as Sayuri in English means “ white lily”, this CD packaging is made to resemble it. When opened, 8 petals with different patterns will unravel representing the stages that Chiyo went through to become a geisha.

 

The SMP is “ Transformation”. The idea is comes from the movie because the movie is talking about how Chiyo from a fish village becomes the most famous geisha in Kyoto.

 

The paper I choose is maple bright because the paper is white and more bright to represent Chiyo.
