The first images were taken in a photo booth, with the subjects illuminated at 30 or 45 deg. with a fill back light. The RAW images from the camera were then developed to balance the white point, sharpness and avoid the glare, since many are glossy finished porcelain figurines. I applied translucent paper to continue diffusing the light and some final touches were done with the Clone tool in Photoshop. Furthermore, in some instances, a double exposure was taken and then flattened together to create one single plane image; this because of the use of a macro where the depth of field is very strong.
Depending on the need, the image was either converted to CMYK, with Photoshop paths (CMYK TIFF file) or saved in low resolution for email purposes in RGB color mode (JPEG file).
