DUMB WIZARD FRIENDS SAVE THE MULTIVERSE is a game for 2 to 4 players, aged 8 years and over. Game play lasts around 45 minutes.
Your team of Dumb Wizards have been scattered across the collapsing Multiverse, ready for action. You must all work together to mend the tear. The goal is simple: you must collect 3 of each Element card (Fire, Earth, Water, Air) and retrieve four Element Gems from the Friendly Natives. These will then combine together to form the Ultimate Power, the only spell strong enough to mend the tear. Friendly Natives have come to greet you, ready to help. But as the wizards travel through the Dimensions, the tear widens and the zones begin to destruct, turning Natives angry and hostile. If an entire Dimension becomes destroyed, friendly Natives become destroyed, or indeed the pathways to reach them become destroyed, the Multiverse will fragment and burn and all Wizardkind will be destroyed forever.
Will you save the Multiverse in time?
This was a team project. We created the game together and came up with the style and colour scheme for the cards. My role was then to create the artwork for the landscape cards (above) as well as the design of the card deck as a whole, insuring the game had a cohesive look.
The rest of the artwork was created by other team members: Dámhín McKeown (Native characters and Wizard characters), Roy Gilmartin (Rupture Cards), Daniel Sheridan (Element Icons), and Eoghan Kidney (3D Printed Wizard Figures). The rulebook was written by Gayle O'Brien.
