Imperfect 2015 curates a selection of artworks dealing with the topics of mental and physical imperfection. The artists – some in an artistic, some in a very true-to life way - show up how the human body and mind nowadays is perceived and which ideals exist according to what is perfect. Furthermore the artworks show different ways of how humans nowadays deal with their own otherness. Using different media including photography, illustration and interviews all of the artworks encourage the visitors to accept and embrace difference, because imperfection truly can be very beautiful.
