Félix Péault's profile

A photographic heritage - Website

My dad was a production designer in cinema, television and commercials during more than 35 years. He tragically passed away in November 2013. Kind of secretly, he shot many pictures during the eighties and no one but my closer family was aware of it. Friends, professionals and relations didn't known he waited several hours in the middle of the night taking long exposure pictures, funny situations or graphical subjects themed photos.

Because I think his work has something fascinating about composition, lights and atmospheres,
I decided to scan, clean, restore and organise most of his photographic films and slides.
I offered the possibility to pick one or more card during the exhibition (see below), to bring a souvenir for visitors' favorites photos
(10 models + 1 selfportrait)

I organized an exhibition to reveal his photographic work to people and friends living in his city, Les Lilas, France.
A stand was installed during Lil'Art, from May 7th to 9th of 2015, showing 10 long exposure pictures and a wall of cards.
