This project involved designing and producing the headers for the display cabinets that Scholastic sends out to schools and libraries for their Book Fairs. The challenge was to create a cohesive look and feel between each header that would feature one of the books in the cabinet and tie into the overall theme for that year's event.
Typically, the front covers for the books are in a vertical format (above left). The panels (above right) are in large format. The main image area is 60" wide x 40" high. The artwork from each book cover was scanned, deconstructed, recomposed, and retouched in Adobe Photoshop to fit the horizontal format and composited into the die cutting template using Adobe InDesign.
