CONCRETE GEODES
This collection of vases explores narratives in digital fabrication
evocative of reliquary. Three concrete vases are cast from
3D-Printed models congealing the crystallization of surface
development akin to crystal geodes.
Modified to house a variety of plants the primitive forms are stretched
in three separate axis. Vertically to provide shelter from direct sunlight
for light sensitive plants, then stretched on the X axis to provide a wind
barrier for delicate plants and finally on the Y axis to make room for
plants with large root systems.
