I created this collage of a runner with my running numbers from various cross country races growing up. 

I started out by scanning all of the numbers I was going to use onto the computer. I scaled down the size of the the images and printed them out to use for my collage. 

I initially drew out an image of a girl running and then proceeded to rip and cut out small pieces of paper to fill the spaces of the runner. I used different shapes and colors to create shadows and make the cloth look realistic. 

After months of careful cutting and positioning, this was my final product!
