RHA Tropical Tiki Luau 2011
12th Annual at Arizona State University - Tempe
The Residence Hall Association puts on the Annual Tropical Tiki Luau every year  the weekend after all the ASU Residents move in for the Fall semester. This year, we had nearly 9,000 people in attendance, making it the largest Tiki Luau to date. There were inflatables, zorbs, surfing, dozens of vendors, tons of donated food, games, a giant dance party, and much more. As the Director of Advertising and Public Relations, this is the first event of the year that my job requires a lot of work. I did all the advertising, designed the t-shirts, and spent more than $10,000 on promotional items that would service not only the program, but be provided throughout the rest of the fall semester.
This was the front of the postcard that every resident received upon move-in. there are currently over 9,000 residents living on the Tempe campus.
