Working with Stride Rite, I led the conceptualization, UX, and design teams to create an immersive and personalized experience for moms on their main e-commerce site. We created a concept that included an intuitive “auto-personalization” system that dynamically adjusted promotional content based on a mom’s implicit and explicit actions on the site to more effectively target their needs and personality.

We introduced a variety of tools and personalization features, including a “RiteFit” profile creator for each child, an extensive filtering system based on a mom’s style profile, an iPhone app that included a laces puzzle game for kids as well as lacing suggestions to address foot pain problems, an “Ask the Doctor” Q&A area, and a viral Facebook app that allowed moms to explore top-rated nearby “walking trip” suggestions & build their own! A strong focus on community commenting and rating helped users navigate the vast choices of footwear, helping drive sales and build brand loyalty via an emotional connection to other moms.
