This work exercises the regularly applied structures of Chinese painting: tone, empty-spacing, and layering, designed to create the unrestricted mental state and a sense of balance as Chinese painting advocates. 「Hill hike in mist of dawn」 portrays the scene of sunrise in late fall - the gathering of drops of water vapor into vast sea of mist, with houses shrouded in it.
