Bestiary for the Fingers of My Right Hand

A project combining both book and package design utilizing Charles Simic's poem, The Bestiary for the Fingers of My Right Hand. The poem is divided in to five sections, one for each finger, so it made sense to house each section in its own accordion fold book. Each book is the length of the finger it describes and is marked with the corresponding fingerprint. All five pieces are housed in an accordion fold envelope system. The project utilizes Bodoni and Trade Gothic fonts for larger and smaller type respectively so as to better communicate the soft and hard tones of the poem.
