This is my very special tribute to one of my favourite artists Leon Bakst.

Bakst costume projects for the world-famous Ballets Russes of Serge Diaghilev have always been an endless source of inspiration for the world of art and fashion.

The Ballets Russes of Serge Diaghilev has a unique position in the history of the performing arts.

I have been working on this project for almost two months, from November to December 2015. During this time I read three amazing books: "Love for Three Zuckerbrins" (2014) and "Caretaker " (Смотритель, 2015) by Victor Pelevin, and a dystopian novel "We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin (1921).

Coming back to my own project, this is a compilation of traditional drawing techniques, my favourite old school approach to illustration in the age of social networks and smartphones. Ok, I know I'm late with this project for a couple of years. Nevertheless, it is important for me to express my opinion.
