This series is an exploration of the tonality and shading that can be found in colorless objects.  This study was an introduction to studio lighting, and I chose to challenge myself by photographing white paper against a white matte backdrop.  The lack of color draws attention to the forms and creases of the paper, while the lack of context gives the objects a scaleless, sculptural quality that implies unique spatial qualities.
