One of the best ways to get to know a region is to try their food. As visitor, you'd like to hear about authentic dishes and places where the locals love to eat. Although there are several local recommendation apps such as Foursquare, TripAdvisor and Yelp, they all lack in local curation. I wanted to tell a story about amazing food my hometown Rijeka and it's region has to offer - premium fish and meat based specialties combined with plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs and even fruits.
The idea is to swipe through various dish photos. If you like some, the app will tell you where to get that and provide information about the restaurant. App enables you to find a perfect place to dine based on your mood, dish type or ambient you're seeking out, or to find out where to get local delicacies such as olive oil, truffles and vine. The aim is to provide authentic and relevant information for specific context visitor finds himself in.
