Ok, Here we are! A few month ago I designed a 54-card deck as a gift to my beloved wife and as personal project. This is the result and description of the process, I hope you'll find it interesting and like it!

This were the very first sketches for face and pip cards, to understand the overall look and feel.

This is the design process of all the figures in the deck. First a sketch of the character with pencil, scan it, clean it and prepare it for vectorization. After that I add color. Finishing touches, shades, reflections and fitting the character into the card. This is the Jack of Spades.
