TIMES NOW organized in Singapore a quiz show titled "The Great India Quiz Show". It was hosted by renowned Quiz Master Derek O'Brien, the Quiz challenged Indians in Singapore and Singaporeans on how well they know India. The Grand Finale of the Quiz Show was held on 7th October in Singapore with a focus on a variety of subjects about India and Indians. The prizes to winners were given away by HE Dr. T C A Raghavan, India's High Commissioner to Singapore.

 

The Great India Quiz Show saw an enthusiastic participation with over 250 teams having participated in the preliminary rounds of the Quiz held in Singapore on 28th, 29th and 30th September 2012 which included a written elimination round and a stage round. The qualifying teams faced Quiz Master Derek O'Brien in the semi-finals and the Grand Finale which was held at the National University of Singapore Cultural Hall on 7th October 2012. With a 10,000 Singapore dollar grand prize for the winning team and return tickets to India and many other exciting prizes, the audience and the participants enjoyed a great time at the Grand Finale.
