ONE is a personal lounge chair created through exploration in form and anthropometry. While systematic measurements operated as guidelines, importance was placed on the circular back and its relationship to the rest of the body/structure. ONE was designed and assembled for Advanced Studio Fall 2015 at RISD.

After my final critique, I decided to transform my chair into a stool and use the circle upholstery as the seating. I discovered that the weight of the back gave more stability as it was transformed into a stool.
