Retraspec is a social media app that’s focused on the past. And that’s a little strange in the tech world. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat–they’re all about sharing what’s happening in your life right now. The present is important, but if you can’t appreciate the past, you kind of forget to truly appreciate the moments in life that really matter.
While Retraspec is a fully formed concept, it only exists as a semi-functional web mockup for the time being.

When reminiscing on a moment in your life, when that moment took place is just as important as where it did. Retraspec allows users to share and discover moments based on their location, and then sort them by date. When you first log in–you're taken to your current location so you can connect with the experiences others have had in the same place you are now.
Additionally, you can favorite locations and users to easily access the people and places most closest to you.
