Displayed here is the body of work created for an individual university brief involving branding and packaging. The brief was to create a brand national to the country of my choice between three (South Africa, Ireland and China). I chose Ireland for my country, and after extensive research I decided to create an Irish dairy brand that had whiskey in it. After researching into various Irish brands, whiskey brands and dairy brands, I decided on the name Oak Farm for my brand. This is taken from “Oak” which is a common aging method for whiskey in Irelance, and “Farm” from dairy farms. From research, a common word in dairy brands is “Farm” and I wanted to keep this theme to identify the product as preliminarily a dairy brand. I went on to create a strong logo and colour pallete for the brand, before then going on to create packaging solutions for four different outlets of the brand (cream, butter, milk and cheese) which continuing the visual style for the brand identity across them all.
