Destiny Concept: Campaign (Thought Process)

My Anamnesis content is about replaying historical events of Destiny. One of the reasons a concept like this is so important to this game is because unlike past Bungie games, the storytelling in Destiny has been subpar - and with it’s MMO-esque structure, it’s somewhat understandable how this happened. That being said, the actual lore of Destiny is absolutely incredible. Right now, the only way to understand it is through reading short inserts called Grimoire Cards. 
 
The idea of the Anamnesis is that by allowing players to play “campaign” levels from the point of view of prominent characters in the universe, the game could finally have an outlet to tell it’s amazing tales without tampering with the rest of the game in its current form. Because these campaign levels are all set in the past and focuses on other characters, it doesn’t conflict with the players’ own story in the present and future.
