This is my final piece (minus the paint-printed blue backdrop) for my A Level Coursework Project, in which I decided to look at the modern architecture at the University of East Anglia. I took photos of the architecture at the university, then used the perspective in different ways to create something completely new and theatrical. I simplified the buidings to merely their basic white shapes and windows, then cut them from white card and acrylic sheets. I then painted the windows in both block colours and reflected designs (inspired by artist Brendan Neiland) and then added these to the buildings in interesting ways. I then worked to position these as a model.
