The Occasion of prophet Muhammad’s birth is celebrated across the Islamic countries; however, the Egyptians always bought a box of assorted sweets on that day which is something that is deeply rooted in the Egyptian culture. This category lacked innovation for the past 30 years, its literally stagnant and visually boring. We handcrafted a typography for “Souq Al Halawa” that is readable and standing out, inspired by Egyptian folklore yet we injected a modern touch. We added vibrant colors & ornaments from the Islamic culture yet modernized.
