The client for this project requested a historical video advertising their location of Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek.
For this project I started by collecting data and statistics about the historical area ie. statistical information as well as historical facts about the area, agriculture and locals. I was given an asset folder by the client of still images that could be used to showcase different parts of the Pioneer Village. After collecting all of my data I assembled a rough draft of the script as well as a rough audio version to give the client an idea of what the final audio might sound like without the final mix down.
For the final mix down process I decided to use the Apple GarageBand software. The reason for doing so was due to the fact that I already had the visuals assembled and the GarageBand program allows for easy attachment of audio files to preassembled visual footage. Garage band also provides a streamlined process for the audio that caused the project to be able to be done a little quicker while still providing the client with a professional finished product.
