The daily news outlet for Philadelphia University, PhilaU Today was developed using WordPress with both a customized section for lead story and areas for multiple RSS feeds to other websites like Athletics and the University Calendar. PhilaU Today serves its main purpose, however, of being the primary news outlet for the university, housing thousands of articles dating back many years with added plugins that encourage social media activity and cross-linking to departments and schools.
My primary responsibility on this project was creative direction / branding and content management with hands-on modification of plugins for category posts, social media sharing and more. I also contributed to several articles over the years.
