Atmospehere
The central objective of this project is application of useful
metaphor, which could be used for pushing the limits of textile
design perception in the contemporary society. The practical work is
textiles for the interior of a bedroom. The textile collection consists
of sheets and blankets. "Atmosphere" offering a new poetic view on
the creation of products and environments that surround us.
Designs for this collection were created via experimenting between
medium of painting and textile design. So it is poetic design which
includes new approach and has an ambition to disturb utility
convention. The contribution of this work is, that stereotypes
transform to the intuitive metaphors, whether it's the conceptual or
craft side or textile design.

Atmosféra
Hlavným zámerom práce bolo použiť „Atmosféru“ ako
užitočnú metaforu, ktorou by sa dala posunúť hranica vnímania
textilného dizajnu. Praktická časť obsahuje textil, ktorý je určený pre
interiér spálne. Túto textilnú kolekciu tvorí posteľná bielizeň a deky.
„Atmosféra“ nám ponúka nový poetický pohľad na tvorbu
produktov a prostredia, ktoré nás obklopujú. Návrhy k tejto kolekcii
vznikli experimentovaním medzi maľbou a textilným dizajnom. Ide o
tzv. poetický dizajn, ktorý v sebe nesie nové prístupy a snaží sa
narúšať utilitárne konvencie. Prínos tejto práce leží v tom, že
premieňa stereotypy na intuitívne metafory, či už je to po
koncepčnej alebo remeselnej stránke textilného dizajnu.
