Board Game Design Project

The audience for this low tech board game design project is age 15 and up. I designed this project for players to learn about renewable energy in an interactive, fun, and communal way.  It is my role as the designer for this project to not just create an engaging low tech board game, but to present the content in a high tech manner to potential investors.
For the presentation portion of the board game, I utilized Adobe Illustrator to design the title and credit screen. Once complete, I exported to a file suitable for import into Keynote, where I proceeded to design the board game and presentation.
The majority of my game board design was done in Keynote. The only element that I can not take credit for in this project are the icons, which I retrieved from Noun Project due to time restrictions. Keynote allowed me to design the game as well as create additional elements for the pitch presentation.
With the presentation as a guide I then performed and recorded the voice over for the instruction based on the script I created. With the voice over tracked and the sound effects created in Garageband, I then edited, adjusted and positioned each track accordingly within the Keynote presentation.
Once I compiled all the content in Keynote, I exported the presentation to video and then imported the video footage into iMovie. I proceeded by editing out unnecessary footage in the presentation to create a seamless video. Lastly, I laid a music track over the video to give a professional touch.
