APR Capability Statement

While managing the Christchurch Branch I saw myself in the need of a better layered out, easier to digest and more exiting capability statement to show around and send to clients. As a result of this I took the existing (word document) capability statement, which had vary good quality information, and formatted in a more structured and easier to read manner. Furthermore, I made a straight connection with content and graphic asset while also using new graphic content.
The existing capability statement had very good quality content. However, Due to the limitation of word processing programs it did not reflect well enough the good work of the company. The redesign of the capability statement does not implied it needed to be changed but rather suggests a more engaging easy to follow document.
The new capability statement used a more graphic approach. Front page is more engaging providing the same information than the previous one. The document was spreader giving each chapter a page and with imagery related to the specific chapter. The team page was concentrated in to one page in contrast with the old one where space was wasted in a one column layout. The Experience section was layered out in a simple manner that allows to have consistency between projects with the same number of images. In addition to this, more significant projects were given a full page on the spread while the most important being shared in the initial spread of the section. Finally the list of projects and referees for tenders were included as part of the exprience section having a small project at the top and the list layered in three columns in contrast with the old version which has a separate list of 3 pages for it in one column.
