PRODUCTION DESIGN : designing a set for a chosen narrative
During this three week long project, a chosen narrative had to be converted to a set, by a group of four of us. The constructed 1:1 ratio set had to be then photographed in a sequence of 3 frames, 5 frames and 7 frames, such that each set of photographs describe the whole narrative.
The chosen narrative was a poem by Robert Browning, Porphyria's lover. This is dark poem of jealousy and love, which drives people insane and make them cruel murderers.
The setting of the story is in a melancholy old english cottage. The project involved hands on work, researching on time periods and procuring materials as per the visualisation.
