Lettering for the Italian restaurant Fatto, in Manama, Bahrein.

Affamato!

An add agency from Bahrain asked me to do a lettering for Italian restaurant Fatto, located in Manama.
They wanted a big lettering to put on a wooden wall at their main salon.

The idea was to give an Italian vintage look to it, with the word "Affamato!", which means "very hungry".
I ended up adding the text "se sei" and "mangia da noi che ti farà bene", so the whole thing would mean something like "if you're hungry, eat at our place, it will be good for you" - but in Italian it sounds nicer ;)

They also wanted a faded look to it, almost like a ghost sign, so I had to deconstruct it after constructing.

Here's the process and the outcome!

Color testing
Final lettering on navy blue background - this is my favorite
But they wanted it very faded and over the wooden wall, so here it is!
