The following pictures were taken for a Digital Photography class assignment. This assignment was a semester long project. We were asked to pick a subject or a style of photography and then photograph it though out the semester. Through class critiques the images were curated to only print out the best 10 images that encompassed our subject throughly. As a constant commuter, I decided to photograph the riders of the "L" (Chicago subway) since this is where I have encountered the most interesting sort of people, outfit choices, etc. This also gave me the opportunity of getting over the fear of photographing strangers to the point that at the end of the semester I was able to get really up close to my subject and photograph them.
