Swarm Robotics IDE
Over spring break (2011) I participated in a Lockheed Martin Skunk Works© Immersion Design Experience (IDE) through the Innovation Gym at Southern Methodist University. The goal was to get a handful of robots to coordinate their actions using the ZigBee communications protocol, swarm algorithms and GPS data.
All the good videos are stuck on on someone's Flip camcorder somewhere, but this should give you an idea.
