I created this workspace design for the December Good design challenge (www.good.is).  My treehouse of creativity is rooted in my childhood drawings of impossible clubhouses suspended above the every-day.  I filled these sketches with tunnels, secret codes, and rope ladders to keep out unwanted neighbors.  Now, for me, an ideal workspace is one that contains all the paraphernalia that inspires me - books, various items found on a beach or city street or given to me by a good friend - and my art studio.  I believe keeping a child-like wonder is what allows our creativity to be limitless.
