California Wedding

We designed a simple, iconic, and modern brand for a fall wedding in California, including invitations, signage, and packaging. We illustrated a custom skyline representing the three cities the couple have lived in together, then screened it in gold ink on dark gray paper to reflect the mood of the event.
To offset the sharp, clean nature of the identity and illustrations, we chose "rougher" materials: French Paper Co.'s Dur-O-Tone paper for the invitations, textured kraft paper envelopes, and a slightly imperfect screen printing process.
