In my process I first started off examining the quote, thinking about the theme. This theme is one of premisses for my own art practice. So I first looked back on to my own Darkness series. Exploring themes of Identity, darkness and what makes a person human or to represent one as a self. Many other meanings can come across.
Which lead to the creation of this entry and series To Be Dark, To Be Light is To Be Self.
