If you fix dinner, can you fix a family?   We asked 5 families facing different obstacles from over-scheduling to autism, to commit to having regular family dinners. What happened was better than anything I could have ever written. Their stories played out over 23 episodes and were the center of a larger program challenging all families to get to the table together more often.

The statistics about the power of family dinner are pretty staggering and were the inspiration for the campaign.  After the launch of this campaign, Stouffer's and Nestle were recognized by CASA - The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.

 
Parents were really convinced of the power of dinner once they heard a couple simple facts.  This video made it's way around the mommy-blogger world.

Here, you can join Let’s Fix Dinner Challenge, watch other families take The Challenge, and find lots of solutions to help get you to the table. But most importantly, the site provides a forum where people can share their struggles and successes with each other.
On the site, you can choose you're dinnertime goals and be given a series of tools to help get your family to the table.

Popular kid's book author Todd Parr created a limited edition book "Let's Fix Dinner," to get kids (and parents) excited about dinners together.   All proceeds went to Habitat for Humanity.
