Various versions of OS X were used and a few small details changed on my desktop over the years these were made. But i've arranged these to most closely resemble the order in which i created them, and it might be kinda obvious despite all the missing links in between...

 

The square artboard was usually 5x5 inches in Illustrator, but were usually exported at 500x500 pixels to get a more dense pattern...
