Do Not Fear
Prepare For Disappointment
This poster reflects the dichotomy between Conan O'Brien's commencement speech at Harvard in 2000 and his speech ten years later at Dartmouth. I wanted to create a poster that reflected the way in which O'Brien reused his earlier speech, but changed the overall message based on his experience during those ten years. To do so, I printed a poster with the black and white words "Do Not Fear Failure," and scraped much of the ink off before over-printing "Prepare for Disappointment."
