Concept:
My concept was to incorporate the fact that South Africa celebrates its 20 years of freedom in 2014 into my poster. I used items typically used in celebrations like confetti, and designed it in a more abstract manner to get the feeling of a celebration rather than a literal celebration. My aim is to make my target market feel happy and in a celebrating mood, whether they are local or internationals viewers. Well, especially international viewers because 20 years of freedom is a huge milestone to reach in South Africa. Everyone, including non South Africans, should be excited about 2014 and what it means to us as a nation.
