Craft beer packaging design & illustration
Client: Backwards Bean Brewery
I was approached by a small craft beer brewery in South Africa, to create a CI for the brand, as well as labels for three beers they were currently brewing.
This was a really fun project, as I got to create the look and feel from scratch, as well as define the character and feel for the brewery. There are so many small breweries hitting the shelves these days, that the design not only had to stand out and be unique, but stay true to the craft culture. The final being to appeal to the sense of most craft beer drinkers appreciate, and have come to expect from their beer label's design.
