The Lonely Mushroom Island

About a month ago, me and my friend @rymdnisse attended an event/workshop called Schoolism in Stockholm. There multiple lectureres that had worked for Pixar, Disney, LucasArts, and much more, talked about how to build stories, characters, and paint. It was incredible, the amount of knowledge me and Nisse we used the next day to build a story.

This has nothing to do with that, I'm just giving you some background (and probably wasting some more of your precious time here on earth). But nonetheless; that event also also sparked a will to get my drawing tablet (Cintiq 13HD) out again and started playing around with brushes and sketches. As of now, I've only made a handful of painting during the month that has passed. And out of those this is the fourth, I think. But that doesn't really matter.

About the Artwork
It's a mushroom! A lonely mushroom! A lonely mushroom on an island! (There is even someone living in it, more on that later.)

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I came up with the name after it was done, so it doesn't really have anything to do with it. But it sounded cool, and I think the painting itself turned out pretty well.

I will upload the sketch later on, but I don't have it on the computer I am currently on.
