In September 2015, "My Children! My Africa!" opened the World Theater Masters Series as the first installment of the three Athol Fugard's plays in Shanghai Culture Square, KFS Container Theater. It's the first time Fugard's plays being performed in China. The series was produced by Wencong Chen, and "My Children! My Africa!" was directed by Wencong Chen. The set is designed by desginer/architect/installation artist Shaw Xu, and light design by Yilun He, and sound design by Jing Yin. Deji Odunlami (UK) played Mr. M, Aumar Proust (Benin) played Thami, Hedy Bok (HK) played Isabel, Rebecca Etebopini (Ghana) played djembe drum and performed vocals for the play.
