A snippet of the Gigamap. This iceberg depicts that in todays scenario, only major names are associated with the Maker culture and we fail to see how scaling it could effect these underlying segments. It essentially explains how the maker culture can affect various segments like Education, Society and Economic segments on a subsurface level.

Some of the work generated as a part of this project. We set out to explore various mediums, chart availability of various resources, make instructables and share the resources and the knowledge base.

This Gigamap was one of the final deliverables for the course. It charts the various factors, triggers, stakeholders, and various levels which affect the Maker culture in the Indian context. Further the map also explains how certain models can be developed and applied at various levels ( school level implementation to city scale implementation ) to see positive impacts of the maker culture on the society.
