O principal foco da profissão do Designer é a resposta a um problema, necessidade ou pedido. Esta resposta é enquadrada por constrangimentos de várias ordens, que vão determinar o resultado final. Um dos constrangimentos é o orçamento.
Na plataforma #PROPØ$TA os clientes lançam o projeto e passam a responsabilidade do orçamento para o lado dos designers. Cada designer procura o projeto que mais lhe agrada e dita preço pelo qual acha justo realizá-lo. Ao haverem vários designers interessados no mesmo projeto, cada um lança a sua proposta e o cliente fica com o poder de decidir com quem vai querer trabalhar.

The main focus of a Designer is solving a problem. This answer is framed by constraints of various orders, which will determine the end result. One of the constraints is the budget.
On this platform customers publish a project and give the budget responsibility to the designers. Each designer looks for the project that best suits them and dictates a fair price for their work. When there are several designers interested in the same project, each one launches their proposal and the client has the power to decide who they want to work with.

Aceitar realizar projetos a preço abaixo do seu valor justo, prejudica não só quem aceita, mas toda a classe profissional. Apesar do site ter estado online, funcionou apenas como uma chamada de atenção. Os anúncios não eram reais e ninguém teve de trabalhar de graça.

Every time you work for free you are harming others.
* This was a conceptual project that aimed to bring attention to the price of design and the role designers have on it. Setting unfair prices is harmful not only for those who accept them, but for for all designers. The website was live, but worked purely as an attention grabber. The ads were not real and no one had to work for free.
FEEDBACK
At first, when I opened the website, I thought “what a nice idea”, but I immediately realised that something like that would make all the prices drop. Curious about the the platform, I placed a price on a project. As I saw other prices popping up, I started to get angry and I thought the process was just ridiculous.
Only when it ended did I realise the whole concept. Very good!
